Costs
Tuition Fees
There are no tuition fees payable by EU nationals. Non-EU Nationals who do not meet the exemption requirements are liable for the full tuition fee of €3653 as per instruction of the Department of Education and Skills.
Contribution & Registration Fees
Department of Education and Skills Contribution Fee of €200 payable on registration. The following categories of participant are exempt from paying the contribution. Proof of exemption will be required at registration.
- Full medical card holders in their own right and their dependent children
- Those who are eligible under the student grant scheme
- Those in receipt of the Back to Education Allowance (BTEA)
College student services fee of €100 payable on registration.
FETAC Examination Fee
FETAC Examination Fee of €50 is payable to the FETAC Examination Secretary before the October/November mid-term break. Certain exemptions may apply.
Other Costs
Students should budget for the above costs along with daily expenses, textbooks & materials.
Maintenance Grants
Students living in County Wexford may apply through County Wexford VEC for a Maintenance Grant. These grants are means-tested and payable monthly. Further details and application forms are available from www.cowexfordvec.ie. Other students should apply to their local VEC.
Back to Education Allowance (B.T.E.A.)
All of our courses are approved for the purposes of the BTEA. In order to be eligible for the BTEA you must meet specific age criteria and be in receipt of a designated social welfare payment for a certain period of time.
Apply to your local Social Welfare Office for details of this allowance.
